Sarah Williams is a specialist Charities lawyer providing advice to a wide range of charities and not-for-profits on governance, commercial, fundraising and regulatory matters.

Sarah has significant experience in assisting charities and not-for-profits navigate governance and commercial matters in the context of developing charity and company legislation and a changing socio-economic landscape.

She is experienced at dealing with the Charity Commission and providing practical and pragmatic advice where it is needed.

Sarah is part of the leading charities practice at the firm, named as Charity Team of the Year 2013/14 by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) at its awards which are the pre-eminent awards in the sector (as well as winning the inaugural award).

She also leads the firm’s education group, headed up by Penny Chapman, with a particular focus on independent schools and developments in the sector.
