Sectors

Penny’s charity expertise includes setting up and advising charitable organisations, including independent schools, chartered associations and professional bodies. She has particular experience in advising public authorities on their role as charity trustees and on public / private / charity collaborations. She advises trustees and governing bodies on their fiduciary and regulatory duties, constitutional and governance issues, and commercial and fundraising contracts.

In addition to her work for charities, Penny has a strong private client practice, in particular, providing tax planning for entrepreneurs and advising on the use of trusts in a commercial context.

Penny is a trustee for a number of charities and a governor at Abingdon School.
