Olivia advises on all aspects of dispute resolution, acting for companies, private individuals and public bodies. She has a particular interest in public law and regulatory disputes, including judicial review proceedings, and has acted in a number of statutory appeals and applications on behalf of a professional regulator.

She is also an experienced Privy Council agent, having acted for a number of appellants and respondents in appeals from a range of jurisdictions. Her wider caseload includes general commercial and property disputes, including those with an international element.

  • Acting in a number of appeals to the Privy Council, including: Sir James Mitchell v Ephraim Georges [2015] UKPC 43 and Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago v Dumas [2017] UKPC 12
  • Acting for the Health and Care Professions Council in an appeal to the Court of Appeal by the Professional Standards Authority, in Professional Standards Authority v (1) Health and Care Professions Council (2) Benedict Doree [C1/2015/1305]
  • Representing the Health and Care Professions Council as intervener in R (on the application of Ngole) v (1) University of Sheffield (2) Health and Care Professions Council [2017] EWHC 2669
