Duncan draws upon his direct industry experience to provide a very personal service to corporate clients of all sizes. He specialises in corporate finance, company sales and acquisitions and commercial contracts of all types.

Duncan read law at Keble College, Oxford University. After starting his career at a City firm he moved in house, first with investment bank BZW, then Barclays Global Investors, the world’s largest investment manager, and subsequently as global general counsel at Travelex plc. He rejoined Barclays Global Investors as the company’s then youngest managing director, with responsibility for a team of 40 people handling legal and regulatory affairs across Europe.

Having settled in the Cambridge area Duncan returned to private practice and, after 10 years as a partner in two well known firms in the Eastern region, joined Bircham Dyson Bell in 2017. He has a particular interest in the technology and biotech/biomedtech sectors.
