If you are a solicitor, or soon to be qualified, and have expertise or experience in our practice areas, we can offer challenging and varied work, friendly and supportive teams, interesting clients, a good work-life balance and flexible working. We want our solicitors to develop their careers and expertise with us, so we offer a variety of training both to develop your technical knowledge and the skills we believe you need to excel as a solicitor.
Our fee earning targets reflect the importance we place on work-life balance, but we also want to reward great performance and have a bonus scheme and promotion structure in place.
As well as opportunities within our legal departments, our support teams including IT, Finance, Human Resources, Revenue Control, Marketing, Events, Business Development, Facilities, Risk and Compliance, and Knowledge Management, look for people who have the experience and enthusiasm in their area of expertise to support and drive forward the success of the firm.
Our legal teams are supported by paralegals, administrators and secretaries. These roles are very much part of the team and work closely with our solicitors and partners to deliver client requirements.
We offer a wide range of benefits and regularly review these to ensure they remain the best way to value and reward our employees.
Our benefits include:
We are only able to accept applications via our online portal https://www.allhires.com/bdb-law/ Please note we are unable to retain any CVs sent to us by email.
We do have a preferred supplier list in place. If you think your agency would be able to assist us you are welcome to email email@example.com. We ask that all recruitment agencies who work with us correspond with the HR department and do not contact partners directly.
If you have any questions, please email the HR department firstname.lastname@example.org who will be able to assist you.
For those who are eligible to start as a Trainee Solicitor in two years’ time, we offer opportunities each summer as part of our Summer Vacation Scheme. We also work with an organisation called Career Academy to offer work experience in partnership with local schools.
Unfortunately, due to the number of applications we receive we are unable to accommodate all requests for work experience. If you wish to find work experience within the legal sector, there is an organisation called the Sutton Trust who provide help in finding work experience within law firms.
