BDB appoints new partner to corporate and commercial team
Philip joins the firm from Lewis Silkin where he has been a corporate partner since 1997. His appointment enhances the expertise of the department and brings the number of partners to seven. Philip has experience of advising on private company M&A for both buyers and sellers, public company M&A and IPOs, debt and equity funding (acting for the company) and general corporate advice to both private and public companies.
Jesper Christensen, managing partner, said:
“Philip’s appointment is a welcome addition to the team. His arrival reflects our growing investment in the corporate and commercial area and his experience is well aligned to support and enhance the firm’s offering to clients. We look forward to working with him.”
Philip Lamb, partner, added:
“I am pleased to be joining BDB at this exciting time for the practice. BDB has a dynamic client portfolio and the team’s growth in new markets means it is an exciting time to join. I am looking forward to working with the team to develop the practice further in what is a fast moving sector.”
Philip’s appointment follows recent expansion of the department following Nick McCarthy’s arrival earlier this year.
