
Stephen advises many extremely wealthy individuals, structuring the holding of their assets through trusts and private companies to achieve the clients’ aims of preservation and protection of assets. He also advises executors, trustees and beneficiaries on their duties, powers and rights in relation to trusts and estates. He is actively involved in personal pension issues related to estate planning.
On the international side, Stephen advises on domicile and residence issues and the creation and variation of offshore structures for UK and non-UK clients. He also specialises in charity law, primarily giving advice to trust-based charities and their trustees on constitutional issues, assets and investment powers.
