Experience
Penny’s charity expertise includes setting up and advising charitable organisations, including educational trusts, chartered associations, professional bodies, heritage and conservation charities and private charitable trusts. She advises trustees on their fiduciary and regulatory duties, constitutional and governance issues, the setting of grant conditions and establishing systems for monitoring compliance, joint ventures and fund-raising.
In addition to her work for charities, Penny has a strong private client practice, in particular, providing tax planning for entrepreneurs and advising on the use of trusts in a commercial context.
