With over 20 years’ experience in planning law (gained in the public and private sector) Mark has advised on numerous developments throughout the UK, from very large projects to smaller matters. He also advises upon compulsory purchase, highways and environmental matters.

Mark is currently the General Editor of Butterworth’s Planning Law Service, the loose leaf encyclopaedia that covers the whole spectrum of planning law.  He is also one of the authors of English Heritage’s guidance upon Enabling Development and lectures frequently on planning law issues.
