
Marc qualified in 1991 and advises on employment law generally with a particular interest in industrial relations and business continuity. He is recognised in Chambers Guide to the Legal profession as impressing clients with his "adept handling of union related matters, in addition to his knowledge of the postal and railway industries".
He acts for a wide variety of household name clients in the transport, retailing, manufacturing and postal/communications sectors on industrial relations matters and disputes and was involved in the leading case of Metrobus -v- Unite the Union, in which the Court of Appeal recently clarified the law on strike ballots.
Marc has written extensively on topics such as equal pay, sickness and sick pay, redundancy and industrial relations. He has also written sections for the online guidance provided by Xpert HR and PLC. He lectures frequently for clients and externally for organisations such as International SOS.
