Hugo joined Bircham Dyson Bell in 2001 and was made a partner in 2011. He specialises in trust and tax planning, acting principally for wealthy UK families and their trustees, often owning private family businesses or landed estates. He also acts for international clients and trust companies, with a niche practice advising on the structuring of Shari'a compliant asset holding vehicles for Middle Eastern clients.
Hugo has previously been recognised by Private Client Practitioner as one of the "Top 35 under 35" and is mentioned in The Legal 500 2010.
