I joined the firm in September 2008 after completing the GDL and LPC at Nottingham Law School. Before studying law I did a business degree at Sheffield University. After university I decided to take a year out before beginning the GDL but somehow it turned into three years!
I spent 2 months in New York after which I spent two years living and working in Argentina. I was attracted to the fact that BDB welcomes trainees who have had previous life experience before choosing a career in law. When I joined the firm, it seemed like a long time since I'd gone through the interview process however because the firm invites its future trainees to lots of social events, I felt like I already knew a lots of the other employees already which helped to ease the first day nerves.
Out of work I enjoy travelling, eating out, skiing and dancing.
