Our Corporate Group focuses on mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, joint ventures, reconstructions, reorganisations and other corporate transactions. Our experts advise on all forms of financing for corporate transactions, including public offers, rights issues, placings, private equity, cash-box structures, bank debt, employee share schemes and lease finance. In addition, the group has a dedicated company secretarial unit.
A seat in this group offer trainees the opportunity to gain a broad experience, but with a particular focus on:
- Corporate finance, including AIM admissions
- Public company takeovers
- Private company mergers and acquisitions (including management buy-outs) and joint ventures
- Capital reorganisations and restructurings
In many larger firms trainees take a back seat. Not here. Our Corporate trainees learn by doing, under supervision from partners and senior lawyers. So you will get plenty of hands-on experience, drafting and negotiating documents, attending meetings and taking instructions directly from clients.
